In the piece  “Messi, The Dog Man”, the argentinian journalist and long time Barcelona resident Hernán Casciari compares Messi to a Dog.  He says, like a dog, Messi doesn’t really understand or care about how the human world works. Like many dogs, Messi just has a visceral fascination about… something. In his case (like many dogs) is taking a ball to a certain place. Over and over again. He suggests Messi is driven by a simple, dog-like fascination about… something. In his case (like many dogs) to move a ball to a specific place, without concerns for the human world's complexities.

Inspired by the story, we developed a research, curation, and content project connecting dogs, neural simulation and the only player in the world with eight Ballon d’Or awards. Check the full project here.
